We are so excited to see our very first big launch this week! A huge congratulations to Ketura Persillin, of the joyfulcloset.com on her new website! Woo Hoo!

The WordPress Quickstart service was the right fit for Ketura and her styling and wardrobe consulting business, and within just a few days, we had the latest version of WordPress installed on our web servers and the Mighty Little Web Shop premium theme in place. We then invited her in for our signature 75-minute training session, which taught her how to use the MLWS WordPress theme. We showed her how to add photos and captions to her home page slide show, how to connect to her social channels, how to link her signup to her newsletter service, and how to change the colors of the navigation bar and headlines throughout her website to match her brand colors. We talked about the difference between categories and tags, and how to go about creating new posts and using the categories and tags to attract new clients.

Her old website was in WordPress, and she had put most of it together herself, so she knew she wanted to stick with this platform. But she wanted a design that would display well on mobile devices. We helped her to migrate her existing blog (which is amazing, by the way!)

She was able to easily upload her new logo, add a tagline and contact information. Then she added pages and subpages to her site and began to add the content to the pages. While she was building the website, no one could see it. Within about a week, she had all of her content in place. And when she was ready to go live, she simply clicked a radio button and Voila! Her new website was live and operational.

Ketura Persellin has led workshops on personal style and accessories and regularly speaks at events. She is available for both private and corporate styling consultations. She’s a member of the Association of Image Consultants International and has trained with Brenda Kinsel and Dominique Isbeque.
